Celebrate a simple life

It's no small thing to celebrate a simple life as Tolkien once said.

I have been trying to keep that quote in my mind as I try to get through these crazy times we are living.

When I was young I dreamed of making it big and being able to have and do anything my heart desired. Now that I am nearing 59, I hope to just grow my shop enough to get by comfortably through the remainder of my life.

So many things are happening to make life scary and uncertain. Politics, AI, a threat to social security.

All we can do is the best we can do. Be kind. Support and encourage one another.

Keep things simple. I am growing a small garden to reduce expenses. I try to only shop for what I need but it's okay to treat yourself once in awhile. My special luxuries are coffee and my hand dyed yarn.

To all my 55 plus ladies out there, let me know what we can do for one another.
